First run
Sign in, open Settings and accept the acceptable-use attestation (one minute, required before any trace). Then open the map, type an address, city or county in the search box, and click a parcel. You start with 10 free credits.
How long a trace takes
A full skip-trace runs for several minutes, typically five to eight. The map shows it as running and fills in the result when the engine finishes; you can keep browsing or start others. Trace all in view starts up to 25 at once and reports hits as they come back. Results also land in your job history on the Dashboard, so a closed tab loses nothing.
What a credit costs and when it comes back
One credit per trace, charged when the trace starts. If the engine finds no phone and no email, or if it errors, the credit is returned automatically. Packs and prices are on the pricing page.
My trace failed
"Engine offline": the trace engine is unreachable; nothing was charged, try again in a few minutes. "Suppressed": the owner, parcel, number or email is on a suppression list and we will not trace it. "Out of credits": buy a pack under Credits. Anything else, email us the job id from the Dashboard and we will look.
The map is empty
Parcel points appear from zoom 13 in; Regrid boundary lines from zoom 10. Zoom in or search for a place. If the map itself will not load, the page says why (usually a blocked tile request on a corporate network).
Coverage
62.7 million parcels across 1,346 counties in 39 states. The coverage pages list every county with row counts and absentee-owner counts. Owner names are redacted at source in some states; the county page says so.
API
Keys live under API Keys. The docs cover every endpoint. Traces are asynchronous: start one, then poll the status endpoint.
Deleting your account
Settings has a delete button. It removes your workspace, lists, trace history, keys and any unused credits at once.
